Browser independence
- Try different browsers
- Check printed pages
- Switch Javascript off
- Switch plug-ins off
- Switch images off
- Check non-reliance on mailto
- Check no orphan pages
- Check sensible page titles


Checklist's are a guide through a maze of dead ends, gotcha's and shockers.
Give out a set of scripts and you might as well tell a monkey to test your application. I've seen that checklist act as the guide but the user still has to navigate his/her way through the software, during this process of checking items off the 'checklist' they'll be able to notice nuisance and irregularities with the software.
It's not about running 100 test scritps per function it's about the testers ability to notice investigate and identify.
